"The Last Supper" is the second episode in Season 2 of Bless the Harts, being the twelfth episode overall.

Plot

When a chain restaurant called Lord Lobster moves into a new location right off the highway, Greenpoint and The Last Supper fear they are in danger of financial ruin. After deciding to film a commercial showing off the best that Greenpoint has to offer, Jenny becomes frustrated with her fellow residents' behavior in front of the camera.

Notes/Trivia

This episode was originally supposed to air with Season 1, but was heldover to Season 2.
As with the restaurant, the title is a reference to the final meal that, Jesus shared with his apostles in Jerusalem before his crucifixion.
In the crowd shot, one of the background character's face is red for a few pixel scenes when Jenny talks and the camera zooms out. This is later fixed in a later pixel.
The Lord Lobster commercial parodies certain chain businesses. Lord Lobster itself is a parody of Red Lobster. Sweetbucks is a parody of Starbucks. PetMo is a parody of PetCo. Strumnords Rack is a parody of Nordstrom Rack. T*J Marx is a parody of T*J Maxx. And Pasta Garden is a parody of Olive Garden.
Wayne's ostriches reappear in this episode, a callback to the production pilot episode.
As this episode was produced in the first production cycle, the copyright owner credited is still "Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation", despite the episode having the new 20th Television logo at the end.
This is the last appearance of Ian David Cole.
